This Week In Reviews Sara Daniels - Can't Fight - SingleWheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere do I start with this single? I could start with the infectious beat, the amazing mixture of violins, synths, drums, and guitar, the super catchy chorus, I mean the list goes on. Sara Daniels is quickly rising on my 'favs' list and I hope she doesn't do anything to get off. Her latest single gives a twist to Pop Rock, adding that Electronica feel to it with the heavy synths. There's no doubt in my mind she is equally one of the greatest guitarists this generation has to offer. Any time you can play an instrument, that's always a plus with me. I'm also in love with the lyrical meaning of the song. Sometimes you really just cannot fight with someone anymore, you just have to move on. I love a good break up track that's not the typical sad ballad, yes! Throughout the record Sara sings out for a guy who she has fallen n love with but he continues to keep her chasing after him and after a while she finally comes to the sad terms of her having to move on and begins self pitying herself of not being able to fight the pain.
I love the Girl revolution that I'm feeling with Sara, it's definitely time to add some feminine touch to Rock and give the men a run for their money. Congrats to Sara for being the first perfect track of me to review! You better work it girl ;)Honor Rates 'Can't Fight' 5/5
GOLDIES AWARDS FASHION: BEST & WORST DRESSEDAhh, yes, another awards took place on Sunday and I must say, I was very impressed in some people at their clothing. I think they took what I said to heart and really tried to look their best, others...there's no hope for you at all. I mean really, REALLY?! Who dressed some of you? Do you visit your mother looking like that? I don't know, maybe I just have a different taste in style or you just really cannot dress. However, I decided it was my duty to make aware who made the cut this year for my Best Dressed and who needs to stay at home next year for being on the Worst Dressed list. Quick note: Due to my own biased opinion, I will not be adding my boyfriend Alec to this list. 1. I'd like to remain in a relationship and 2. We all know what I'd say ;) Let's get to it!Best DressedSara Daniels - She played it safe this year after coming up with one of the most god awful outfits at the Chaos Awards. A simple black, short dress. Nothing crazy, nothing amazing but at least it wasn't ugly. I'm positive you've been reading my blogs.
Cristina Lake - Another safe player, I'm noticing the trend in this year's red carpet; black. Okay, I love black as much as the next person but it's not a damn funeral for christ's sake. Still, it wasn't THAT bad.
Chloe - Besides the totally psycho facial expressions she was making, her dress was not half bad. I loved the slit and the purse, gorgeous! Also, showing off the girls a little, always a plus! I might not care for your nursery rhymes but your dress game is alright in my book.
The Stat Nerds - I mean, you can't really go wrong in a suit and tie, especially when it's black and white and they're all wearing the same exact, damn suit. Physically, nothing was wrong with your outfits but mentally, I'm gonna need you to separate yourselves. I can't even name you and even if you wore different suits....I still couldn't name you.
Evangeline Wolf - I was surprised she made the list! Normally, I'd have cut her for wearing that color but it looks good on her. Don't anyone else dare to be that bold! It wouldn't work and you'd get on the worst dressed list so fast, you'd replace the current worst dressed list champion, Nichole Fischer.
Yasmine - TOO. FUCKING. ADORABLE! I just wanted to kidnap her and take her home with me :) Oh my god, seriously, she's not even showing any skin and managed to outdress everyone. I'm putting her as the champ of the night for having the BEST outfit of the night. She's like the muslim version of a barbie doll, I want one.
Katie Coyle - I wasn't in love with the look but it wasn't Nichole Fischer bad. It was tolerable but I didn't want to shake her like an etch n' sketch, and draw a new outfit on her.
Escape Artists Never Die - It wasn't even the fact that one of them was wearing a bow tie (because we're all in elementary school and can't afford ties) it was just the fact that they actually looked presentable. A little molesterish but presentable.
Veronica Carter - Adorable dress, loved the cute belt in the middle. At least one of the BCStyle girls can dress, God knows what the fuck happened to the other one. From now on, if I shop there again, I want Veronica to style me! *Snaps fingers*
Isabel - I picked up 'Indian' vibe from her, was I the only one? Seriously, if she had just put some little bells on her fingers and started dancing, I would have tackled her with hugs. I don't think Izzy ever misses with fashion.
Pixie - She makes latex look hot. I'm picking up a vibe of BDSM/Space suit from her. Plus, you can almost see boob but she doesn't look like a cheap whore. I'd want to pay her.
Radio Vine - Stop the presses. Radio Vine looks NORMAL. My god, what is happening here? She's not yelling 'YAAAAS DOLL!!!', she's not laughing psychotically, but she looks so normal. You're learning, you really are.
Kourtney - Kourtney always looks like a 15 year old in her dresses but I can't knock the cuteness. Another safe play.
Edward Barát - I'm sorry bitches, but this man right here just literally swept the floor with you! (Except Yasmine, it's a tie). I mean look at him, sexaaaaaay! If he weren't gay....I'd hold a nice conversation with him.Worst DressedAtlas - I mean, at least TRY to look like you wanna fucking be at an awards show, where you're performing. I mean it's the GOLDIES. I didn't wear my Hello Kitty snuggie so you don't wear jeans! And it's fucking day time, why are you wearing shades? There was no sun shining that bright. What were you looking at, your girlfriend's forehead?
Amy Jayne - I can't even, what the hell is wrong with you? Do you not know where you are? This is not a sale at your local flea market, okay? Walmart called, they want their stolen goods back. Don't worry, I've got more. And don't give me that 'I don't spend a lot of money on clothes' shit either. NO. You have ONE night to actually look good and you couldn't spend an extra $75 for a decent dress?
Melva Dixon - And who the hell is this? What kind of name is 'Melva'? If you're going to show up a nobody, at least look good. Are you related to Amy Jayne because you two don't seem to comprehend what fashion is. I feel like I'm talking to a damn wall.
Anna Villiot - I guess you didn't take heed to my last warning did you? Why even show up? This is not an audition for 'Sons of Anarchy' alright Anna? Leave that shit at home.
PURE - What is this? First of all, I can tell you why you look so fucking depressed, look at you. I can't even, I'm done. You almost make me want to quit my job.
Aubrey Mikkel - If a lion and a zebra fuck each other, what do you get? This dress. I feel like you and Amy Jayne went to the same Walmart. Okay 'diva' if you're REAL R&B I'm gonna need you to wear REAL name brand clothes. Diva's don't settle for less. You have been victimized Aubrey. You're a victim of a fashion emergency. Call Tyrone, there's nothing he can't do.
Nichole Fischer - ....I don't even know, what the hell is this? You look worse than Amy Jayne, who let's THAT happen? I'm sorry, I love you and Vile Hour but I cannot let you commit this crime without paying for it. You get the award for WORST dressed of the night.
Kai Rollins - Mr. Smart ass, why am I not surprised you can't dress yourself? Maybe when you were too busy catching fire with Emerald Black, you could have taken some lessons on how to dress. Are you trying out for 'ALISTAIR'? I didn't see a role for hobo on there.
Ansley Bates - How can you dress others if you can't dress yourself? I can't say much because then you'll revoke my discount card but still I am shaking my head! Burn that dress okay? Matter of fact, let Amy Jayne borrow it so she can sell it to Plato's closet to buy a better outfit.
Kato - SO FUCKING CLOSE BUT THOSE SHOES! Are those slippers? Why do you have on- and why are they checkered?! Oh my god, WHY?
Dominic Brown - I can see why you're Kato's mentor, you both dress like retards. What is this? It's not your first day at Prep school you nut, it's the GOLDIES! We're still friends though right? Nothing personal, you just upset me after breaking so many rules in fashion right now.
4U Girls - Since I don't know who is who, I fined you all.
Brielle - Oh come on, you're a model like I am! Why? You look like you accidentally mistook this for a workout session, no!
