Adam Benjamin had just finished getting ready, wearing his casual attire. Skinny jeans, a pair of colourful converse, a printed t-shirt and black jacket. He considered wearing a Snapback but threw it back into his room before heading out of his apartment to the lobby downstairs. On his way down the stairs he sent a text message to Destinee, the two had met twice and had been texting each other on a regular basis. Today was a sort-of first date for them.

He sat down on a chair in the lobby and waited for Destinee.

Adam sat silently in the lobby for a few moments, playing through various scenarios of how today's date will go. He watches too many movies and somewhere along the way, through adolescence into adulthood it had screwed him all up, his friends occasionally joke about how he lives in his own world and has no real sense of reality, this didn't upset him in any way, if fact he was fine with it because he liked the version of the world the way that he sees it, however false it may be. It's a happy place inside Adam's mind and he likes it.

He looks up as he hears the French accent, he smiles and almost leaps to his feet. "Hiiiii!" he says enthusiastically, playing it cool will never be an option for Adam, when he's happy and excited he just lets it show freely. "Oh please do not worry about it. Time is nobodies friend!" he says with a warm smile, "You look wonderful, I feel under-dressed now" he laughs slightly, he places his hand out in front of him, open palmed. "Shall we?" he asks with a smile, and waits for Destinee to take his hand.

It was just another typical night in the studio for Sonyae. She was working hard in the studio day and night daily. Sonyae was wearing a black weave with a bang, a pair of black leggings, a white t-shirt, and a pair of Louis Vuitton black-glittered heels. Just a few minutes ago, Sonyae got off the phone with Serenity Scott after having a conversation about a possible collaboration. Shortly after, Sonyae began to continue to finish recording a song that she started working on a week ago.

Sonyae finished recording the song and decided to sit down on the couch that was in the studio. She grabbed a bottle of cold water from the mini fridge and sat down on the couch. She then turned to one of the producers that she was working with and asked for the time.

Sonyae put the bottle of water back in the fridge and yawned before sitting back on the couch. She then saw Layla approaching her. She smiled. "Layy! What's good Layla? No no no, you're not disturbing anything at all. How's everything been with you?" Sonyae was glad to see Layla again; the woman who produced her promotional single last November for her.

Somyae giggled. "Tell me something I don't know." She smiled at Layla after she gave her a compliment. "Thank you mama, you look beautiful as always. I love that outfit... Thank you! I've been working on this record for such a long time now. Independently too! But thank you." She crossed her legs. "How's the lucky man Mark?"

"Thank you. I'm in it to kill it. " She winked at her. When Layla said that they seperated recently and that Mark has a new girlfriend, she felt a bit awkward and scratched her head. Oh shit..., she said in her head. "Wh.... what?.. I'm sorry for bringing this up." Damn, this nigga left her recently and found a new girl already? STRESSED. , she said to herself once more.

"Good, don't be. Men can be so disgusting sometimes." Sonyae felt sympathetic for Layla and felt relieved that Layla changed the subject. "I have no plans for tomorrow but to sit in this studio and finish this album. I feel like I'm overworking though."

"You got that right. It never ends for people like you and I. One thing I dislike is laziness. I can't stand lazy people. Laziness doesn't fly with me." Sonyae combed through her perfectly stitched weave with her fingernails. "Thank you. I'm going to send out a demo or something to label execs soon. I need to get my stuff out." Sonyae noticed that Layla didn't say anything negative about Mark whenever his name was brought up. However, she still felt that Layla was a little hurt by her recent seperation. She then thought about doing something with her to clear her mind. "I'm going to club Amnesia in the city with some of my ladies on Saturday night. You wanna come? I promise you're gonna have fun." She smiled - hoping that Layla will accept her offer.

Mark Talley is sat staring straight ahead of him, acutely aware of his heartbeat all of a sudden, which incidentally racing at a rate he is quite sure is indicative of an impending heart attack. He takes a deep breath and sighs loudly to himself as he lifts his head from the wheel. He had no idea why he was so nervous, but here he was, sat in his car in the driveway of Nadia Berry's house, feeling like he was about to pass out with a panic attack. He shakes his head and exhales quickly. They had been together for a few weeks now, there was no need to be nervous. If he said it sternly enough in his head, he might even believe it himself.

After scolding himself for being stupid and overthinking things, Mark gets out of the car. Of course Nadia liked him, otherwise, why would she have told the world in her blog? He holds onto that thought as he closes the door of his Maseratti, the only modern thing he owns, lifting a bunch of pink roses from the passenger seat. He checks his hair and his suit in the window before walking up the driveway, listening to the crunching gravel under his feet. As he reaches the door, Mark stops for a second, looking down at himself. He was dressed in a vintage dark suit with very fine pinstripes, an open necked shirt and dark shoes. He looked very smart. He pauses for a second before he reaches out and rings the doorbell. He was excited to see Nadia again. They had got really close lately, and he really enjoyed her company.
