Karoliena sighs happily with cassie in cuddle range. Karoliena whispers,as she didnt want to betray jodys trust. " jodes said you smile so much more now. Karoliena asks in a concerned tone.she puts her leg on top of cassies,as if to claim her. She thinks for awhilr before answering the mom question. " in an ideal world? I think i would. It felt good making long term thoughts about the 5 of them.

Karoliena laughs. " oh if only Jody knew how much I love her mom.she wouldn't have to worry." She assumes its just a child's way of speaking . "Never" means " once in awhile." Karoliena bites her lip to keep from frownig when she hears the toll Cassie's past has taken on her. She had just assumed Cassie let it roll off her back and kept trucking. " shit. No wonder Gia was super protective of you. You poor thing. " karoliena hugs Cassie to her tightly. " Cassie,you should know its not you. You are the most easy to love person I know. "i barely know the woman outside of being my label boss....but i think she is scared you are making a mistake with me. lets face it.....i dont keep the most honorable of company. and my past relationships have been,um unique. she is probably just looking out for you." karoliena holds cassies cheeks as they kiss.it was a different sort of kiss. barely a hint of lust,but full of love. having one of cassies children in bed with them,it felt very much like a family. Karoliena shakes her head. " you are beautiful,Cassie. Beautiful,yet still cute. Few people are both. We are going to have such trouble when Jody is a teenager. We will wish she was ugly then!" Karoliena grins at the idea of ugly kids being easier to keep from all the pitfalls of teen hood. Karoliena puts her arm on Cassie's shoulder and brings her close. " shhh. It's the past. People change. You had to do all that to become the woman you are today." Karoliena says brightly. " do you think your parents would like me...oh lord,your father doesn't have Instagram does he?! " karoliena makes her eyes wide and gasps. Thinking how funny a conversation that would be.she nods and looks from Cassie to Jody,then out the door where the twins sleep. Faith looks up at the house out of the window of the cab, letting out a small sigh. "Now or never, huh, George?" She asks the driver, who responds with a grunt. She wasn't even sure if his name was George. Not that she really cared anyway. She sees Kai waiting for her and smiles a little bit, knowing that he was probably just as - if not more - nervous about this meeting as she was. Faith pays 'George' and then steps out of the cab, straightening her skirt. Her shopping spree had been a successful one - successful here meaning that she had found a skirt that she liked that hung at her knees and a sweater that covered most of her tattoos. She felt as prepared as she ever could for this. "Hi, darling," Faith says softly as she walks up to Kai and takes his hand.

Faith smiles up at him, looking over his clothes and new haircut. "You look very handsome tonight, Kai," she says honestly, grinning a little when he kisses her cheek. She looks up at the house again, the whole thing seeming much more menacing now that she was out of the cab and right in front of it. She lets out a small sigh and nods. "Yeah, I suppose I am..." She says back, giving his hand a little squeeze as she follows him through the gate.

Faith smiles at him when he tells her that she looks beautiful, seeing just how nervous Kai is. Definitely more nervous than she was. She grips his hand as tightly as he was gripping her's for assurance. "It's going to be fine," She whispers, trying to be as encouraging as she could possibly be. She looks down at her outfit once more, straightening out any imaginary wrinkles that she thought she saw again before standing straight up. "Yeah? I feel like I'm back in prep school... Fucking hell..." She giggles a little, fixing her hair.
