Nadia nodded her head at Izzy's response and gave her a smile, walking over to the sofa and taking a seat. "Come sit," she says, patting the empty space on the sofa next to her. Her eyes look to Isabel again and she laughs, being the workaholic that Nadia was, she could definitely relate to what Izzy was saying, "Gosh, I'm just like that. I could work non-stop for six months, then get a one month break and just completely not know what to do with myself, you know? It's an addiction, working."

Nadia watched Isabel step closer to take a seat next to her, admiring the purse she had just put down, "Ooh, I like that purse! Damn, look at you coming in here all fashionable, I won't let you in next time if you show me up in my own home," she laughed. From the smile Isabel gave Nadia, she could tell something was wrong, she hoped it was nothing too serious, but considering she came to tell her in person, she figured it was. "Oh," she muttered, not really wanting to find out. "Okay then, what is it?"

Nadia smirked at her comment, "I wish! I kinda wanna raid your wardrobe, don't tempt me," she joked. Nadia felt like she had been here before, sitting to wait to hear the bad news, but it was never with Isabel telling it to her. As Izzy began to speak, she frowned a little, she had no idea why she was saying all of this, was it really that bad? "I know, Izz," she tried to reassure her, trying to make her say whatever it was already. "Just tell me," she said, giving her a stern look.

Nadia nodded her head as Isabel began to speak, once she mentioned a concert in Los Angeles, she could already tell who she was beginning to talk about. Her heart suddenly sank. Part of her knew it was true, but she didn't want to believe it, she had the habit of laughing and thinking things were a joke when they really weren't. She began to laugh as Isabel stopped speaking, "Riiiight! Sure." She shook her head, still laughing to herself, "You came all this way to prank me? I must say, that was quite a harsh joke, Izz."

Nadia's laughter soon came to an end as Isabel began to talk once more, trying to explain the situation. The whole situation soon became ridiculous to Nadia, she knew it was no use pretending this wasn't happening any more, her voice raised a little, "Are you fucking serious? You didn't want it to happen but it did? That's bullshit, Izz. Things happen because you went them to happen." She ran a hand through her hair, trying to calm herself, but failing to, "Is this why we're friends? You couldn't wait to get your hands on Ryan the moment we broke up? Because it sure didn't take you long enough. You talk about us being friends and it's all a fucking joke, it really is. You aren't my friend, you're a backstabbing bitch."

Nadia's position on the sofa shifted, turning to face Isabel more as she laughed in disbelief of the whole situation, "Well from the sounds of it, our friendship meant absolutely nothing to you. You see, friends look out for each other, Isabel. Friends support each other in hard times like a break-up, not run off and go on a date with their fucking ex-husbands." She shook her head, looking up at the ceiling for a moment to try and process everything, "What if Katie and your brother broke up and I got with him? Do you think that'd be right of me? Do you think that wouldn't hurt her? You're a complete idiot if you didn't think this would hurt me." She took a moment to breathe, but the more the spoke, the angrier she got, "What did he do? Fucking point a gun to your head and force you on a date with him? Don't give me this 'I didn't want to hurt you' act, because it's pathetic."

Nadia's voice raises a little more, "Well forgive me if I didn't want to talk about my feelings, but right now, I'm pretty fucking glad I didn't confide in you." It was safe to say that these past few months weren't going very well for Nadia, she felt that one of her closest friends had just gone against her and was definitely not coping very well with it. "You must live in the clouds then, Isabel, you certainly don't live on this world. Our friendship would overcome it? Bullshit. Because I wouldn't cross that line. Ever. Because that's the kinda person I am, unlike you." The fact that she had the chance to turn Ryan down angered her even more. "The fact that you could have said no to him but didn't, shows what kind of person you are. It's fucking laughable. You only care about yourself, and I'm glad I've found that out." She pointed to the door in anger, "You can go now, the two of you can go to hell for all I care."

Katie was a little tired. She had just got off the flight from LA to New York an hour or so again and booked a cab to come straight here, not giving herself to rest on what had been a very hastily arranged trip. She was worried about her friend, Nadia, and she wanted to be here for her if she could be. Nadia seemed sad on Twitter and Katie had no idea what was getting to her. It worried her, because Nadia seemed to always take things in her stride - she had always been the one to help Katie out when she had been sad or alone. She was only too happy to return the favour though. When her cab comes to a stop, she smiles and pays the driver before stepping out of the cab with her suitcase. Dressed in a pair of tight black jeans and a close-fitting white shirt, Katie looked far more stylish than in the past. She straightens herself up and walks towards the front door of Nadia's house briskly. She stops at the door and brings her case alongside her, pushing her recently restyled, and now poker straight, hair from her face. She quietly knocks on the door of the house.

Katie smiles as she hears someone inside rushing around. It sounded like Nadia's typical behaviour. She rarely seemed to stop for even a second. When she hears her come towards the door, Katie forces a little smile. She was really worried about her friend, but she didn't want to look glum and make her feel any worse. When she sees Nadia though, Katie smiles for real. She looks far better than Katie expected. From the tone of her tweets, Katie expected to find Nadia in sweatpants looking downtrodden, but she looked as flawless as ever. Katie was delighted to see her as well. Nadia meant the world to her, and their recent reconciliation had made Katie so happy.
Hey, you," Katie says softly yet brightly, stepping in to give Nadia a tight hug. "I missed you," Katie says as they hug, before she lifts her case and steps past her into the apartment. "You look great, Nads," Katie smiles, sounding a little more surprised than she intended. "How are you?"

Katie smiles when she steps inside and sets all of her stuff down. "Such a lovely place you've got," she smiles. "An apartment nearly as big as my house!" Katie giggles as if trying to lighten the mood. She knew something was wrong, but she didn't want to come right out and say it. "Awww thank you Nads," she says with a little twirl as if to show herself off. "I'm doing great. Wedding planning...stressful but fun," she says with a little smile. "Well I could do with a drink. So thirsty," she smiles. "It's up to you though. Should I just get a coffee...or are we gonna need wine for this?" Katie asks, showing Nadia that she was here for her if she wanted to talk about whatever it was that was bugging her.
