Alec nods and gives a little shrug when Honor talks about Jennifer. He didn't really know her at all, and didn't spend enough time on Twitter to give an opinion on her or the displays of her relationship with one of the Weekend guys. He really wasn't completely sure which of the Weekenders she was getting married to. But he was happy to have been even invited to one of Honor's friend's events, and he'd never pass up a chance to travel. "Thank god you're going to be with me the whole time. I get nervous at weddings. Emotions are at their highest peak there. People are crying, feelings are hurt, there's always that one bridesmaid who doesn't have a date and is trying to sleep with every guy there. It's a struggle of it's own." He holds the front door of the hotel open for Honor as they walk back out into the blistering but beautiful sun.

"Sexy," Alec says back simply when Honor says that she'll punch any woman that tries to sleep with him. He kisses the top of her head again as they walk down the street, the view of the beach right in front of their hotel. He nods about it being hot. "It's a dry hot. Even the breeze is warm. There's no release from it's hot grip." He laughs.

"Oh, definitely. I'm thinking the fight would probably happen in a mud puddle. In the rain. In bikinis. You know, where fights between women usually happen," Alec says with a shrug and one of his sly smiles. "Yeah, I think it's a surf-and-turf type place." He sees the top of the restaurant in the distance, knowing that they're getting pretty close. His stomach growls quietly as he sees it, realizing that he's hungrier than he thought he was.

"No man is above watching girl-on-girl action of any kind, that I can assure you. It's just a little secret from me to you." Alec winks as they near the restaurant and he holds the door open for him, smelling the delicious food from inside already. Honor was right, a beer did sound really good today. "Two, please," he says to the hostess. "And we'd like a place on the patio."

"Oh, boy," Alec says with a small laugh. Although the idea of seeing Honor in a mud or baby oil fight with another woman was understandably sexy to him, it wasn't exactly something that he thought could be planned. It lost all sexiness if the fight was planned. He laughs when Honor mentions how great the air conditioning felt. It did feel great. He wished he had some way to pull his hair back, but not look like a douchebag or white trash. He rubs the back of his neck, feeling some of the cool air on it as he looks at the menu. "I don't know, pet. The grilled salmon sounds good... What about you?"

"Sounds healthy to me," Alec says with a shrug as the waitress comes over to the table. "Hey, how are you? The lady and I will have whatever's on tap, and I'll have the grilled salmon peta salad, and she'll have... whatever she'll have." He smirks and closes the small menu, handing it to the waitress.

Alec nods when Honor asks if he's been enjoying it here, taking a sip of the water that's sitting on the table. "I've been loving it here. It's gorgeous. My only complaint is that it's too hot out here." He laughs a little. "I'd love to come out here with you again. Sometime when we can do our own thing, and don't have any plans or obligations." He nods. He'd definitely come back to Australia some time. Plus, he had yet to see a show inside the Sydney Opera House. He had to come back for that.

"I'm surprised you haven't done a shot out here already. It's so gorgeous, I thought photographers would be eating this place up." Even on the beach, Alec had seen several parts of the beach being sectioned off for photo shoots or filming. Maybe Australia was becoming too mainstream for alternative models like Honor lately. He watches her pour the salt and grins at it. He liked her weird, unexplainable quirks.

Alec laughs a bit and shakes his head, watching all of the salt go from the napkin to the ground. "I'm not surprised by anything anymore. Not with you," he says as one of the air conditioners kicks on, blowing the salt from the floor right under their table off to the side of the patio. They had been together for almost seven months, but he still questioned several things that Honor did just as quirks and eccentricities - most of which he didn't really want answers to, he just liked the fact that she had them. "Let's come back here when it's winter here. I'm sure it's still absolutely gorgeous."

"You could never be boring to me," Alec says back simply with a smile as the waitress comes back with two beers for them, and informs them that their food should be out in a few minutes. Alec nods her a thank you and then turns back to Honor, lifting his glass and taking a sip. "Mmm. Good idea, pet. Beer was exactly what we needed today."
