Dallas sighs and shakes his head, still chuckling a little when Dustyn sits up in bed. Yawning, he looks up at the photo when Dustyn mentions the painting and smirks, shrugging. "Sure, but hey, it might as well be a painting of Harry Potter up there if you're going to be worried about upsetting fictional characters," he says, clearly joking around. He knew that Dustyn had been brought up religious and that he himself was an atheist, which made their relationship even quirkier, given how different their beliefs were. "I'll tell you what if the painting sends you off to hell, I'll make sure I hold your hand and head down there with you," he adds with a little wink. When Dustyn gets up to go and remove the painting from the wall, Dallas wasn't sure if he was joking or not. The idea that he would be scared of a religious painting seemed really ridiculous to Dallas, but he wouldn't say anything. Each to their own and all that after all. ""Now, your ass, that is something I do believe in. Probably has more power than god as well. I've seen the following it has online," he winks and raises an eyebrow when Dustyn takes the photo down. Looks like he really was being serious, which almost made Dallas laugh out loud, something he managed to stifle. He didn't want Dustyn to think he was belittling his religion. He yawns and scratches his head as Dustyn climbs back into bed, feeling now like it might really be the right time to go to sleep. It had been a long day of travel after all and he was really tired. He smiles as he kisses Dustyn, leaning in towards him and putting an arm around him. However, Dustyn seems determined to reignite the flame from before, something that Dallas wasn't all that into. He wasn't quite as sexual, nor did he have the same drive, as Dustyn, so to try to just start something again after "the mood" had been killed wasn't really doing it for him. He tries to think of a way to be tactful about telling Dustyn, trying not to upset him by saying he wasn't all that into sex that had been interrupted already, although he knew he would be upset, Dustyn always seemed to take things like that personally even when Dallas was not trying to upset him at all. However, he need not have worried because a few seconds later, just as Dustyn was disappearing under the covers, there's a bang on the window from the wind, making them both jump out of their skin and look towards the glass, the driving wind relentlessly pushing the hammering rainfall into glass over and over. It was as scary as it was a normal sight around here at this time of year. However, it's the thump on the door down the stairs that makes Dallas sit up and look across the room through the darkness. Through the silence of the house, for the window banging had at least sounded exterior, a sound like the door being hit so hard it was like someone or something was trying their level best to take it off its hinges sent a terrified chill through Dallas. "Holy shit....was that normal...I mean...not...is that supposed to happen?" he stutters, sounding really quite worried.
