So yeah... it's Jason here and I can finally confirm that the new Mind album is in the process of being finalized. All we have to do is clear the production up a little and get the mixing done. All of the songs themselves, however, have been completely done. We've been working on it for a while now and I think that you guys are gonna be pretty impressed by it actually. It will be self titled, due to the fact that it does represent us as a band, it does actually combine all of the elements of previous Mind albums and combines them to make this one. It will be continuing the Paladin concept started from The Juggernaut, and it will act as the final chapter.
Yes, my friends, this will be the final Mind album. We're not breaking up, nor are we going on hiatus, but this will be the last album full of original material that we're ever gonna make, due to the simple fact that we will never be able to top this. This album is so immense, so huge, that it is physically impossible for us to do any better. Mind will still make music, and still perform live, but as far as albums go, I think this is it.
The album will also come with the continuation of our Rebirth Tour, which sorta failed when I decided to go on Big Brother and ruin my life. However, do not fret, because we're gonna finally finish this shit... so yeah, we
may also need some new support acts, since I'm not sure all of them would want to rejoin us due to me abandoning it and they may have other commitments. But get in touch :)
Anyways, I better tell you some details about this album. It was recorded at my house in London and produced entirely by me. It features myself on guitar and vocals, Aaron Del Petro on guitar, Harry Thornton on the bass and Stevie Moxey on drums. Stylistically, it is more of a symphonic effort, and features many different styles, ranging from blackened death metal to electro-pop. It's pretty hard to explain. You'll see though what I mean eventually. This is truly our magnum opus. Well, I guess I better show you the song titles and the song lengths, so here we go!
