Josh nods along as she speaks, listening intently to every word. He thinks to himself how smart this girl walking beside him seems. He had met far too many bimbos and air-heads in his life, but this girl seemed to have her head screwed on right. She seemed to know what she was talking about, and she seemed down to earth. He smiled at her again.

"Yeah. I guess you're right. I suppose some of us are just keen to have that perfect person more than others right? I mean, I don't really ever see the point of settling for someone you aren't happy with you know? I want the girl I end up with to think that she wants to be with me, and to just feel happy. That's what's important."

He laughs at her Hitler reference.

"Ha..no, don't worry about it. I'm a little bit of a rambler myself!"

Josh looks over, confused. "You weren't good enough for someone? Whyever not? You seem like one of the nicest people I've met since I came here." He smiles. "But yeah, you are right. I am a slightly eccentric, geeky producer, and no one, no matter who they are, will ever be shaking that one out of me. I'm just me, and I think people have to accept who you are, or it gets a bit pointless you know?"

He looks up. "Looks like a nice building you got here. You live with your sister then?"

He follows her inside.

Josh shrugs a little. "Hey thats probably a good thing that you split then. I always found that people who need to be forced.into a relationship really dont deserve to be in it. Plus...if you were with that guy I'd have been stuck on my own on this lovely afternoon eating cereal and singing songs to myself." He chuckles.

"Cool. I'm guessing you guys are close then? Are you not a partier yourself?"

He follows behind her and puts his bag of groceries on the floor.

Josh leans against the wall, attempting to look a bit cool and relaxed, even though he felt amazingly nervous still. He listened to her and nooded along, nervously knocking his foot against his bag of shopping and drumming his fingers against his leg.

"Wow. Yeah, I know what you mean. I went to a night club recently. It was crazy. Far far too loud. I felt like I was getting old!" He laughed. "But hey, dont be silly. I think you are interesting. You seem like the sort of person I like to bearound. People dont need to be drinking and crazy to be interesting."

He looked at her, shyly.

Josh shakes his head and stands up again.

"Well i think you are. It's.not often I meet a new person I can talk to for so long. Or so easily. You just seem so easy going and like you just want to be yourself. I like that a lot."

He smiles and lifts his phone.

"Sure am. Lets make everyone on that lake eat...water." he laughs and walks to the door.

Josh noticed Jade was staring at him, and he chuckled a little, looking back into her eyes for a bit.

"Well thank you. I mostly keep to myself and my close friends...but its not often you bump into a pretty girl is it?"

He smiled, walking outside. "I love Hyde Park for a walk. The place is so nice."

Josh smiles, thinking how cute it was to see Jade blush like that.

"You know you're too modest. You are a very pretty girl indeed."

He turned towards her a little and smiled.

Josh nodded and smiled at her, feeling himself blush a little. He didnt really feel comfortable giving out compliments often. But he felt Jade deserved one. He really did think she was pretty, and he didn't want her to think he wasn't interested.

"So....tell me about this band of yours?" he said, edging slightly closer to her as they walked.

Josh looked impressed to hear of her musical prowess. He rubbed his chin lightly as they kept walking, trying to ignore the fact that he almost tripped over a loose paving stone. He had already bumped into someone that day with his shopping cart. He didn't want to come across as a totally clumsy guy. He chuckled to himself a little, before turning his attention back to Jade and quizzing her on her band.

"Oh, so you play too? Not just another pop band then I guess. What's your weapon of choice?" Immediately he realised just how much of a geek he sounded, and laughed nervously. "I mean...what do you play?"

"Well my weapon of choice is guitar but I can also play piano. I think I like guitar better." She played with a piece of her hair as she looked at Josh. She felt confident talking to him now. "What do you play? If you play I mean."
