"I'll make it as beautiful as I can afford after I buy a new house and car and all that jazz," Cassie jokes. "Out of interest, totally unrelated, how much are you insured for," she adds with a serious face, before she bursts out laughing. "You think I'm about to let you die and leave me all on my own? You owe me months of the filthiest sex, so you're going nowhere," she winks and then smiles as she rests her head on her wife's shoulder. The last few years with Karoliena had been the best of her life for sure, and she would be damned if anyone or anything would ever try to take her wife from her. "The only reason I stopped her gambling was when she started yelling "alright, pussies, shit or get off the pot," when she had been dealt a good hand," Cassie jokes. "She's such a little diva." Cassie listens to Karoliena as she talks about the internet, smirking a little and nodding. Being pregnant had been a toll on Karoliena at times, but Cassie really appreciated the sacrifice she had made for their family in the last few months. "You could have watched some porn...brush up on your whipping techniques for when you're back to your best," she smiles, sticking her tongue out at Karoliena. "I know, it was easy, ya know? Just ten minutes laying on a bed, fire out a couple of babies and then back to the office to get on with work," she jokes, shrugging as if it was nothing and then laughing as she lifts the bag they had packed, grunting with the exertion of lifting such a weight. "I'll drive. I'll get us there faster, and I won't have to spend your funeral money on cab fares," she laughs. "Come on. Let's go," she says excitedly as she pulls Karoliena by the hand towards the door.

"I could...I could...or maybe I can just go to Burger King myself five times...no, that would never work. Gia would know, and she would call me out," Cassie laughs. "No life insurance? Sheesh, and I let you go off on tour last year as well? That was a risky financial move," she laughs, raising an eyebrow. "Time for you to get a safer job. Lion tamer should do it," she chuckles, before standing and tossing a few last minute things in the bag. "I have no idea where Jody picked up her poker language, really," she says, looking all innocent. "Maybe she gets it from all that late night World Poker Tour she watches, in her little visor and her shades that are like a mile too big for her," Cassie smirks, laughing a little at the image of Jody all dressed up like a poker champion as she zips the bag up at last, barely able to even close it. Cassie smiles at Karoliena's arms wrapping around her, placing her hands on top of her wife's. "I'm ready to collect on that debt," Cassie smiles, turning to face Karoliena and draping her arms around her neck. "And I might have to rough you up if you don't pay on time," she says with a little grin, leaning in to kiss her wife softly on the lips. It had been so long since the two had enjoyed their little rough bedroom games, and they both missed it so much. She laughs at the face Karoliena makes when Cassie suggested she should watch porn. "Of course not. Just that new things might have happened in the BDSM world since we last tied each other up," she jokes, smirking when Karoliena flicks her tongue. When they break to let Cassie pick up the bag, she sighs happily. She really did love her wife with all she had and she could never imagine being without her ever again. She knew she would spend her whole life with the woman who had made everything in her life perfect since they day they met. "Uber? You think I wouldn't even get you an old fashioned cab? It's almost like you think I don't know romance," she chuckles.

When the nurse finally leaves the room she had shown the two Summers to, Cassie walks around with a very serious look on her face, poking at inactive machines and pretending like she knew what was going on. "If your ass is out, just be warned that I'll be sneaking a look," she says over her shoulder as she continues her "inspection" of the hospital room. When she's done, Cassie walks to a seat and sits down, spinning it around in circles. "Do you need me to open your jeans for you, or can you reach?" she says with a wicked little smile, teasing Karoliena.

"Don't I know it," she says dramatically. "I think that kid is like psychic or something. You can never get anything past her. How does she always know?" she asks, looking exasperated. "Oh I have a good policy, don't you worry. If I should fall over dead, you'll have enough to buy a whole field full of horses for Jody," she says with a laugh. "I love you too," Cassie smiles widely, leaning forward again to kiss her wife as she pulls her closer. It meant more than when anyone else had ever said it to hear Karoliena say she loved her. Cassie had always needed someone in her life who loved her as much as she loved them, and Karoliena was that person. "Scouts honor," she says, holding up her hand when she's questioned, "if you don't pay up I'll whip that little ass until it glows in the dark," she whispers, winking.

Cassie screeches when the lube is thrown at her, batting it away like some sort of radioactive fly had just come after her. "Some pussy of a doctor, clearly. We both know lubing up is cheating," she giggles. "It ain't fun unless you gotta work it in," she continues, laughing at her own joke and walking back towards Karoliena. "Don't tempt me. I've been able to undress you far less than I'd have liked in the last few months," she smirks, before she starts to undress her wife, whistling as if she was at work. "Jeans are overrated. This elastic is where it's at. So much more comfortable," she laughs, pinging Karoliena's maternity pants across the room. "Now put your gown on, I don't want these doctors seeing more than they need to," she says with a chuckle, holding out the arms of the gown for Karoliena to almost climb into it.

"Oooh I like that. If you get clones of me, get two. One for general day to day Cassieness, and another to look after Gia and Jody and all their many challenges," she jokes. She smiles into Karoliena's shoulder as they stand there just enjoying each other's closeness. When they were together, everything was perfect to Cassie, and nothing could ever ruin it. When Karoliena makes her joke, Cassie laughs. "I know, right? Someone just barging their way into our wifey hug," she pouts, looking down at the bump and shaking her head. "How rude, spidergirl!"

"This is true. I am proud of the fact I never need to use any additional lube with you. It's like my party piece. Boom, wet enough to swim in," she cackles. When the packet comes towards her, Cassie kicks it again, and it flies directly into a monitor, causing her to raise her hand to her mouth and quickly sit down. "Balls. Shit, don't tell the doctor," she whispers loudly. "He might throw me out. And don't worry, scars just make you look even more badass. You know I love a bad girl," she winks. When Karoliena undresses further and mentions her breasts, Cassie looks up, grinning wickedly. Seeing her moment, she jumps up and steps towards her, quickly kissing her wife in the centre of her chest as she gently grabs both her breasts, looking up at her as she does. "Don't mind me, just saying goodbye to the prego boobs," she jokes, planting another kiss on her chest.

"Doctor what the fuck name was that?" Cassie says under her breath as she raises her eyebrows and turns away. When she turns back she has the sweetest smile on her face. "Just one for the anaesthetic please doc. I've grown rather fond of feeling my legs," she laughs, trying to keep a light air around Karoliena so she didn't get too scared or worried about what was coming next. She sits and holds Karoliena's hand, rubbing her arm with her spare hand. "If he was sure we were the cool sort of lesbians, he would be making jokes about how you'll feel a little prick," she says, laughing at her own humour again. The doctor is far too engrossed in his needle to notice however, and when Karoliena squeezes her hand, Cassie clenches her teeth a little. Karoliena really could squeeze, and she wasn't messing around.

"What you haven't had to deal with yet is the attention seeking. It wont be for long, but Jody and Gia will be trying to make sure we don't forget about them the first few weeks. Jody was like that when the twins were born. It's so cute but man it gets tiring when they want you to pay attention to them all the time. We can cope though, I'm experienced with that phase and you're a natural anyway. We make quite a team," she nods, high fiving Karoliena.

"God, I know, right? I was thinking of investing in a mini submarine just in case. Who knows how excited you'll get after so long outta action," she chuckles. "Oh it's still there alright. Believe me, I've watched 9 months of doctors and nurses prodding around down there. I've seen it more lately than I did before you were pregnant," Cassie jokes, before listening to Karoliena's concerns. "Disfigured, my ass. It's gonna be like a couple of inches at most. I won't even be able to see the scar and I'll be the one spending all my time down there," she says, hoping to reassure her. When Karoliena reacts by pushing her chest towards Cassie, Cassie smiles and buries her face deeper for a few seconds. "Don't worry, I'm gonna tell them I'm the new nurse and this is an experimental treatment for the cold," she jokes.

(OOC: Sheesh, what a name that is. Never heard that one before). "A two for one deal?" Cassie asks, tapping her finger against her cheek, deep in thought. "Well you got me, I'm a sucker for a bargain. Paralyze me up," she adds, turning around and bending over, before she starts to laugh. Cassie was glad the doctor could have a good laugh with them. She was always nervous around doctors in the way a lot of people were around dentists, although she would never admit it to anyone. Humour made them easier to deal with. It was part of the reason she had fired Dr Barbie early into Karoliena's pregnancy. Someone too dim to even get the most obvious of jokes should never be prodding around anyone with sharp objects after all. "Human Centipede...that was a porno, right?" Cassie jokes. "As long as I can be the front one. I talk too much to be stitched onto an ass for life," she adds with a little laugh. When Karoliena lays there, obviously terrified to move, Cassie smiles down at her and kisses her cheek gently. "Relax, sweetie," Cassie says softly. "I wouldn't let anyone hurt you. I'm keeping that treat for myself and my whip," she smirks, giving her wife's hand a reassuring squeeze. When it's over, Cassie looks across at the doctor and nods, thanking him, before turning back to Karoliena. "No, my hand's fine. I told you, I'm tough as old boots," she smirks. "Hey, on a scale of one to ten, how cruel would it be if I yelled SPIDER and then watched you try to scramble to your feet right now?" Cassie says, clearly joking. One of the things she loved about their relationship was how much they could joke around and be playful with each other all the time. After a minute, Cassie sits down beside the bed to help calm Karoliena. She smiles at her and squeezes her hand again. "Not long now til we get to meet our baby girl," Cassie grins at her. "I can't wait. I love you so much," she says softly.

Cassie laughs when the doctor pretends to stick her with the needle, but as she turns away, she feels a little nip in her ass, and she squeals, thinking for a second he had actually done it. When she turns to see the look on Karoliena's face, she frowns, jokingly. "God, you bitch," she laughs. "I thought my legs were goners." She rubs her ass and looks at the doctor as he speaks again. "Lethal Daisy Chains...I'll have to remember that one. I'll get the box set," she chuckles as the doctor leaves and closes the door behind him. Cassie smiles at her wife as they sit there waiting for the drugs to kick in. Cassie had never had this paralysing experience when she had Jody and the twins, so she had no idea what Karoliena was feeling right now. Sure, she was curious, but she wasn't about to ask either, that would probably just freak Karoliena out more having to talk about it. When she threatens to beat her ass, Cassie smiles sweetly at her. "The problem is you'd never catch me right now, honey," she winks, rubbing Karoliena's forearm and sticking her tongue out. When she takes both her hands, Cassie turns her seat a little to face her wife. She was so happy right now to be here. Never before had she been able to experience something like this with someone she loved this much, the last two pregnancies had seen the other parents not around, so today was a very special day for both herself and Karoliena, and Cassie felt like it was the best day of her whole life. "I love you more than anything," she says quietly, staring sweetly at her wife. "Our little baby spider girl," she says, failing to hold back the overflowing excitement she was feeling that she would soon meet their newest kid. "I really can't wait. I know she's gonna be so perfect, just like her mommy," she adds with a smile.

Cassie looks down at Karoliena's leg and pokes it with her finger, which she immediately regrets. Even though she couldn't tell any difference, she knew Kari couldn't feel it, and that just made it sooo weird in her mind. "It's so....like...crazy you can't feel it," she laughs, scowling at the still legs. "I'm glad I never got that when I was pushing the rest of the litter out," she chuckles. When the two are sitting there holding hands, it just felt so perfect between them. Cassie smiles softly at her wife again and shakes her head, laughing quietly. "You think I would let you do this without me? Never. You know I don't like missing things," she jokes, knowing full well that Karoliena would know Cassie meant she would never let her do it on her own. Cassie was always by her side. "Yeah...with all due respect to Erich, I really hope you have strong genes, because that is one quirky man," Cassie says with a laugh, far louder than she expected.

"Fuuuck, come on doc, if you're gonna promise porn, don't leave us hanging," Cassi whines when the doctor comes back in. "We were going to get some popcorn and make a night of it!" Cassie was still laughing when he started poking about with his pen, which made everything suddenly seem all the more serious, shutting her up straight away. When he then starts to describe the procedure, she suddenly feels a real tension in her own midriff, partly from the nerves of it all, and also because she couldn't imagine what Karoliena was about to go through. "They have gas and air there, right? Because I'm gonna need that shit to calm me down," she says, only half joking, before she grabs Karoliena's hand. "This is it, sweetie. We're almost there," she says reassuringly, a wide grin on her face. As nervous as she was, she wanted Karoliena to see her be bright and smiley so she didn't get too scared, and besides, she was also extremely excited.

As Veronica checked her laptop, a message popped up on her Facebook. The message was from Rory, who hadn't made contact with Veronica since they broke up.

"I know you're probably gonna tell me to go fuck myself, but I'm in LA. I was wondering if we could meet up somewhere? Sorry for the lack of warning x"

Rory sent the message from his phone. He was parked in a McDonald's car park, just so that he didn't have to pay to park his car. He knew from the second that he and Veronica broke up that he had made a huge mistake and he wanted to make things right again, but this wasn't the first time they had split up. Rory always wondered if he was wasting his time with Veronica, or wasting Veronica's time himself. He sighed and rested his head on the steering wheel of his car as he waited for Veronica to hopefully reply.

Rory was surprised when she replied asking where. He realised she was being blunt and he didn't expect anything different, but he was surprised that she was willing to meet him. He looked at his phone and started typing. He didn't really know where they should meet, but he then decided on a place.

"How about your shop? It'll be quieter there x"

Rory insisted on putting the 'x' on the end of the message still, even though she was blunt to him. He missed Veronica a lot and it broke his heart to have to resort to arranging to meet her via Facebook, when usually he'd just be a phone call away.

As soon as Veronica replied, Rory started driving to Veronica's shop. He was starting to feel anxious about the whole thing and wondered if he was doing the right thing by arranging to meet her, but Rory did love her and felt that he at the very least owed an explanation to Veronica. He then parks up near the shop and stands near the entrance, waiting for Veronica. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it. He didn't usually smoke much and he knew that Veronica wasn't too keen on him smoking but Rory was stressing over what was about to happen, so he carried on with it, it wasn't like he could do much to annoy Veronica than he had already done.
