FCA AWARDS PREDICTIONS
UserPostedImage

So like I promised, I decided to put together a list of my predictions as to who will be the night's winners of the Fan Choice Awards. I want to say that for the first time, the fans got it right with the hosts. Last year was just awkward and horrible for everyone but this year I look forward to seeing how the segments and cheesy jokes/puns go. Now, I'm not a huge fan of the awards because in all honesty I hate any show that is fan voted. Fans are some of the most biased and horrible decision making people you will ever come across. It's sort of like the Grammy's except these aren't experts. Any fan voted show is nothing more than a popularity contest. Yes, I said it, a POPULARITY contest. It has nothing to do with actual talent or skill but more to do with who tweeted the most? Who has more Twitter followers? Who posts on Instagram hourly? It's always important to make a connection with your fans, I understand that but that doesn't mean to whore your fans out to win you awards.

But that's not why I'm here. I'm here to give my predictions as to who will win and who will be left in the dust. For each of the categories I will predict the winner and then I will pick my own personal choice for who I think should actually win. Let's get down to it.

Best Music Video
Ah, music videos. They are the visual aspect of our favorite songs. It's really easy to mistake "Best Video" with "Best Visuals." Just because a video has about 20 celebrity cameos or pretty lights, doesn't make it a better video than a simplified one. In my opinion, Best Video means it conveyed the message of the song into its most fitting visual aspect which a lot of artists fail to do.

Prediction: Aikya Balan - "DEVOURED" (feat. Rum)

That's a no brainer. For some reason, people keep referring to the part of the video where Akiya is pulling some scarves from her vagina. While a fascinating feat, that doesn't mean the video was amazing. It was pretty basic and that was the highlight. Does that mean it was the BEST video out of all the nominees? No. Will it probably win just because that's the ONLY moment people know from the video? Most likely.

Deserves To Win: Groove In Downtown - "Can I Exist?"

It was thoughtful, it was beautiful, and it was different. It was everything the Best Video should be but something tells me it wil be overshadowed (as will this duo) for the rest of the night.

Favorite Couple
Let's face it, two of these couples stick out like a sore thumb because A. People didn't even know they were together or B. People don't care they are together. Sorry Kourtney/Jason and Amy/Will. I can say neither will win Favorite Couple, just stating facts.

Prediction: Billy Khan & Jerry Holmes

One word and one word only; Gay. It's 2015 and gay people have been shining like diamonds. I mean, let's be honest, people love a good gay couple over any straight couple, especially when they air all their business out on social media and make up on social media. It's just drama. People LOVE drama. While I'll say this is one of my LEAST favorite couples of all time, you know Weekenders eat this shit up.

Deserves To Win: Honor Wynter and Kai Rollins

Again, beautiful, thoughtful, and a different couple. Probably one of the only alternative couples out there. Our story is one you probably have followed and know well and considering that we won last year, we're already the couple to beat. *Shrugs* But I promise I'll sleep at night if we don't.

Favorite Rock/Indie Act
Probably one of the most hastily given award. People are more into Pop these days than Rock and if you're name isn't Lana Del Ray, they really don't care about Indie that much either. We've had some great breakout rock acts this year (and last but I won't get into all the snubbed people there) but of course there's always going the be the mainstream acts that will have more fans than the actual talent.

Prediction: The Enlightened

Not saying they aren't talented but guys, they aren't the only fucking Rock band out there, okay? It's great they have a huge following and lots of fans but they aren't the only fucking Rock band or act out there. Plus, Mythos was a little less than favorable in my ears. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

Deserves To Win: Reported Failure

Quite frankly, their album is still the best Rock album in a while. Sorry, but it's true. While I won't say they are underrated, they don't get all the credit they deserve either. Now I'm not sure if people just forgot about them when they took a break or they left and jumped ship to The Enlightened or Juneau or Riot! or whoever but I would be so bold as to say they really got that fire back started under Rock again.

Favorite Rock/Indie Single
Pretty sure you're going to see where I'm going with this. (See last prediction).

Prediction: The Enlightened - "Visions"

Not that it was a bad song BUT it wasn't the best and it wasn't MY favorite. But then again, it's not about being the best, it's about who the "fan favorite" is.

Deserves To Win: Reported Failure - "Hands"

Don't lie, you know it and I know it too. "Hands" was in my top 5 of best Rock singles released this year. It was an epic moment for all RF fans and the band itself because there wasn't a bad critique for the song at all. Once again, starting that fire for Rock again.

Favorite Blogger/Critic

Prediction: Honor Wynter/Ezra Allen

Yes, I will be bold as to say I think I'll win too but I also think Ezra will. First of all, let's be honest and say there's only THREE bloggers/critics on this list as tweeting your opinions about ones single/album is not really being a critic, in my eyes. Now Ezra has been new to this but she's done an extremely well job of fitting right in while standing out. Her show "Real Talk" has been one of my favorites to watch but I would offer my critique of having more topics and segments than the same every week. Still, she's been on a roll with blogging and reviewing.

Deserves To Win: Ezra Allen

While I was taking a break, she was taking my spot for the moment so I say she deserves to win. Not sure what fans will do but I would hope they love someone that I see myself in.

Favorite Actor/Actress
This award usually goes to Riley every year (right?) But I'd say he has some competition. Let's see, I can quite remember the last thing Riley was in besides the Diary of an Escort show. Izzy was in Summer Break and Alistair plus the show where she was doing RRH behind the scenes, Sweet Unknown. Then Cristina has been doing her own thing, I admit most of her credentials are dated but I guess since she's going to be in the new HBO series, Consequences, FCA's decided to throw her in. Then there's Aaron Styles who to be honest, never seen anything he's done. But he's like "famous" now right?

Prediction: Aaron Styles

For whatever reason, people seem to be in love with him. I'm not sure why. He's the average young male who wants to be famous. He even tried to sing and it totally killed my ears but of course it topped the charts, offffff couuuuurse. Now I'm 98% sure he's only famous because of his looks but that's just me. Plus, when people keep kissing up to him all the time, you know that he'll probably be winning. He seems to have taken the rest of Kato's young fanbase and stolen them for himself.

Deserves To Win: Cristina Lake/Izzy

You know, the actual actresses? The ladies who acted before they got ino the music and not the other way around? But there's no chance Cristina is winning as she's mostly indie and today's kids are all about voting for someone who spams the internet with their lives.

Favorite Urban Act
Ooh, the first hard award of the night. Everyone keeps saying Urban has been making a comeback but it never left. If you've been paying attention, Urban has always had a representative on the charts and in the industry. Just because there wasn't 900 artists on a track featuring DJ Mustard, doesn't mean it went extinct.

Prediction: Aubrey Mikkel/ Rum & Coke/Synco

Fans tend to be all about what's happening now and seem to have short-term memory. Aubrey dropped, possibly one of the worse tracks I've ever heard in my life as a single, and it was praised. Rum & Coke, love their music, but they tend to go on overdrive and spam the fuck out of the industry by doing too fucking much. So of course people will remember that. I was going to put Synco in the mix but just because they sang some urban lyrics on some urban beats produced by Dominic Brown doesn't make them urban at all, in my eyes. They just dabble in it, they are still POP. Pretty fucking sure "Stay Awhile" had ZERO urban elements to it, but the kids won't understand this so I added them as well. I guess this is what happens when Taylor Swift released "Red" and people called it a Country Album like really? REALLY?

Deserves To Win: Dominic Brown/Deneil

Honestly, Dominic Brown was the first male artist to really put urban on the fucking map and make it a threat. Yes there were others but Dominic was the BIGGEST to do it. He releases consistently great tracks (still waiting for that fucking album bro) and everyone wants to work with him. He's like a young Diddy. But with talent. Then Deneil is one of the best rappers in the industry. Arguably the best on the list but he usually gets the short end of the stick. I didn't like that his last single topped the charts because now everyone will dick ride until it falls off, pretending they took notice of him when in reality they just aboard because he was good. These two have put out the greatest material in my eyes and deserve it. PLEASE MAKE THE RIGHT FUCKING CHOICE.

Favorite Urban Single
Uh, you know where I'm about to take this.

Prediction: Aubrey Mikkel - "Photoshop Free"

I mean....what did I say? It was praised to the high heavens and back. It sounded like a typical urban song so you know that wil always triumph.

Deserves To Win: Groove in Downtown - "Can I Exist?"/Deneil - "Step It Up"

With Andrea in close third place. Groove in Downtown will forever be the dark horse of award shows because I think people still don't understand them. They don't understand their music isn't about fucking bitches and hoes or getting money or talking about their dicks, it's actual music with a purpose. Same with Deneil so that automatically puts them in a disadvantage. People today only care about the beat, if they can chant the chorus and rap the lyrics to make them seem "hard" and if the artist is well known. Unfortunately, another disadvantage.

Best Single Collaboration
Here comes some more fuckery guys.

Prediction: SYNCO - "Come On, Get It" (ft. Kidd Amaze)/Aaron Styles - "Shine" (ft. mister_b)

I already told you twitters golden boy right now is getting by with his looks. In one of the most generic singles I've heard of the year, Aaron Styles really signified that he doesn't really care about the actual art, it's the reward and praise that he's after. And clearly the rest of the world is falling for it. Not sure what he's done to even get nominated since the guy has been out less than 6 months but you do you FCA's. And then Synco, everyone's (not mine) favorite girl group right now. Honestly, the beat was okay, really hated that everyone started doing those god awful trumpets in their songs, but it was okay. Plus, they are clearly the fan favorite so why even bother?

Deserves To Win: Isabel - "Muse" (ft. Eilidh Ward)

One of the best collaborations of the year. The song was pure definition of a collab. It suited both singers, it seemed organic and well put together not just buzz from the others name, and it was a great song altogether. But I'm sure even the mighty Izzy can't overcome idiotic voting.

Best Newcomer
This is also a hard one but not for the same reasons as you think. I've already gotten my three that I think should win. Although I'm sure one of them absolutely won't.

Prediction: Valentina Hart/Mi•Mi

I mean it's not even a shock. She's probably the shoo in to win no matter what. While I will say she had an impressive debut, once again people only pay attention to what happened yesterday instead of what happened months ago. Same with Mi•Mi. They are great, taking nothing from them, but they literally just started dry humping everyone's faces for the past few weeks so of course they are still fresh in voters minds.

Deserves To Win: Groove in Downtown/Nova

Both amazing debut albums, both under appreciated, both going to be overshadowed, both the only two I can think of who really strayed from the path.

Best Album
Another hard one, but only because it's 50/50 in my eyes. I really struggled with picking for who I want to win.

Prediction: Cristina Lake - "Toxic Woman"

It was one of the most overrated albums in my book. The idea was great but then when it came time to deliver, it was like the same song over and over again but in different speeds and pitches. It's great to have a theme throughout but maybe not the same theme each song. It was also spammed by many celebs on social media, most of who I can guarantee didn't really listen to the album as so much join in what everyone else was doing.

Deserves To Win: Reported Failure - "Lie In"

And fuck you right in the ass (unless you like that) if you DARE disagree this masterpiece wasn't the best album so far of the year. *Drops the mic*

Best Band/Group

Prediction: Synco

No comment, I mean who fucking else?

Deserves To Win: The Enlightened/Mi•Mi

Both have put out more quality music, the end.

Artist To Watch Award
Basically "Best Newcomer #2 With no shit on their resume" is what I call this award.

Prediction: Johnny Carter

He's attractive, young, and makes generic love songs. See Justin Bieber's legacy.

Deserves To Win: My Own Violence

But I'm pretty sure half of you can't name a song by them or even know the lead singer's name. *Facepalms*

Sexiest Male
Why are there so fucking many compared to the other categories?

Prediction: Aaron Styles

Must I reiterate the whole 'Getting by on looks' thing?

Deserves To Win: Kato (Sorry Billy)

I must say, I find grown up, tattooed, more muscular, and pedophile mustache Kato to be a loooooot hotter these days.

Sexiest Female
Gonna let it slide that I wasn't nominated this year. Bigger fuck you to FCA's again.

Prediction: Sabina

Just because she won last year (Which I thought was an error) but she wasn't the hottest or sexiest. She isn't even the sexiest on the current list. My god, do you people know what SEXIEST means?

Deserves To Win: Honestly, Ezra Allen/Chantal Hayes

First of all, have you see Ezra? That's a fucking woman. Chantal is the hottest one in GirlSpice, don't know why people think Nadia Berry is all that. Plus, she's a MILF and there's nothing hotter than a mother who can beat a teen girl at her own game. She can fix a bottle and probably give a good blowjob at the same damn time. Respect.

Best Producer

Prediction: mISTER_b/The Wolverines

Because they build their way up like DJ Mustard, by being on everyone's fucking track until you want to cut your ears off. mISTER_b is great but I can't forgive him for that generic piece of shit named "Shine" and The Wolverines are okay but I'm still pissed they did a song like the one with James Urie and let fucking James Urie sing it. Who the hell taught you how to pick vocalists?

Deserves To Win: Dominic Brown

Facts don't lie and I can't think of a single Dominic has produced that has underperformed, can you?

Best Record Label

Prediction: Songs to Love and Die By

I mean Cara is like one of the young people so why not?

Deserves To Win: Kaleidoscope Records

Sorry, best record label in my eyes doesn't mean "Clam as many top name people on our roster and brag about it every week" It's about who is running shit and who is producing the most quality results. And when you're new and can manage to get Vanity for 3 albums, you've already won the game.

Best Live Act
This is who I would pay a ticket to see.

Prediction: Rum & Coke

Probably for the twerking and double D(?) breasts alone, because you know voters love sexually stimulating artists but they haven't had that one iconic performance yet.

Deserves To Win: Dominic Brown

His opening performance with Kato has YET to be beat.

Best Style
Because I know all about style.

Prediction: Aikya Balan

Because she's seen as "alternative" and "weird" she'll most likely win.

Deserves To Win: Barbie Doll

Because she actually is alternative and weird, she should win.

Best Single
Honestly, some of the greatest songs are missing from this list but whatever.

Prediction: Valentina Hart - "Pantomime"

Let's just call her the fan favorite for almost everything. While it wasn't a bad song, it wasn't the BEST. So you KNOW where I'm going with this one.

Deserves To Win: Reported Failure - "Hands"

And you will feel a hand across your face if you don't agree.

Best Female Artist
The BADDEST female of them all?

Prediction: Valentina Hart

Deserves To Win: Julia Volkova

Julia constantly gets Hannah Beth'd at award shows. While she gets praised from every critic in the corner, award shows seem to miss the memo when she should get it most. She's one of the only female rock artists able to keep up and sometimes surpass the men.

Best Male Artist

Prediction: mISTER_b/Austin Nimmo

mISTER_b is probably the only producer people know and you know Austin will probably win because he's Austin. He's put out like 5 mediocre tracks but for some reason he's seen as a god send, meanwhile the actual male talent putting out some game changing stuff, people pretend they don't see them. Okay.

Deserves To Win: Dominic Brown

The only consistent male artist in the industry right now. Second would be Kato but god forbid Kato got some recognition.

Best Pop Artist
Okay, one of these people does not belong in this category but whatever.

Prediction: Austin Nimmo

Like I said, his 5 year old fans will be clogging the voting panels all night.

Deserves To Win: Isabel

She is the biggest solo pop female artist right now and has really done a lot for Pop music. Will she be able to beat Austin Nimmonger? I don't know. Then again, her fans seem to actually buy her music according to sales receipts but that's neither here nor there.

Fan Favorite Award
Let's just get RF out of there already.

Prediction: Weekend/Austin Nimmo

I think Izzy will lose it this year just because 1. Weekend put out their album so people remember they are still around and 2. Austin Nimmo is breathing so.

Deserves To Win: Dominic Brown

His fans will buy the shit out of his music but they seem to not really care about voting for an awards show (smart fans). Just would love to see him take this one home.

Jake: While we like the raw blunt personality, lets be clear that You haven't been much of of critic until recently. Critic a real critic would be Erza and her alone, sure in name status your the biggest one, but if this was a true popularity contest, fans would have crown you the favorite blogger LAST year. Somehow we got it? So let me retort on who I think should win?

The point of these dumb things if to make people feel likt they have a say in what is going on, and they do. But let's see these things as what they are, Fanatic people getting a chance to meet their heroes/icons/gods and maybe hear or see something new. People are going to hate, people are going to rave, most importantly it gives us talking heads things to talk about and drive conversation.

This Week In Reviews

ALEC COLE - Too Cool To Care - Single
UserPostedImage

Let's talk Alec Cole. He's the guy throwing cryptic messages on his Instagram and trying to be all different and cool, that guy. I'll be honest, I can't really give you that many details about the guy straight from my brain (which seems to be the case with majority of all the newcomers) because they just haven't been very memorable if you ask me. He's been making a lot of buzz lately and I'm actually excited for his album if it sounds anything like his latest single, "Too Cool To Care." It's very Lana Del Ray meets Lorde but a bit more laziness from Lana's side. Alec, I think, seems to have found his niche and sound already which could be this laid back, close to ambient sound. I'm also a fan of his vocals. I think of all the new breed of Pop guys, he quite possibly has the least cringeworthy and annoying vocals to listen to. I find them very clear and I'd dare say that I find them to standout a little. Even though I find the lyrics to be a bit unpolished at some parts of the song, it's not horribly bad. I've definitely caught myself not skipping it when it comes on and even humming. The production is very clean and soothing in my opinion. It's not too quiet but not overly loud and obnoxious. I feel the title is something that we can all relate to, thinking we're too cool to care about a past relationship or ex anymore. So, it gets points in the creative field, the catchy field, but falls a bit short for me in the lyrical field. Overall, I won't count Alec out just yet. While I think this is probably the first song of his I like, I feel like he might pull out his 'dark horse' as one of the album tracks so I'll be listening.

While I'm impressed that I find myself liking and listening to this more, I hope the hype I've built in my mind doesn't shatter when the album comes out. And can we get him an award for the artwork? It's definitely in my top 10 of the year so far, kept his shirt on and everything.

Highlight of Song: Keep your flowers cause I'm not dead
Cause in the end it wasn't the end
I always thought I'd be less without you
Be less without us
But I can feel all the oxygen
No more you I'm breathing again
I found a peace over here with me
With me
(Pretty much the best part if you ask me.)

OOC: It's 4 months late but I managed to finally post it, lol.

UserPostedImage

The time is 9:05am. Sitting in front of me is one of the most controversial and beautiful alternative models you'll ever see or know. She's as bold as her look and just as confident. It was only about 3 years ago when she broke out into the world of modeling, giving the world something that they sorely lacked; someone different. In a world filled with the typical model standard of blonde hair, blue eyes, and clean, porcelain skin, Honor breaks all of those molds and creates her own. It's not just her robust black hair, sharp brown eyes, or tattooed cover arms that draws attention. It is also her attitude and will to succeed. The world is filled with humble women who often are overshadowed by the overly confident ones but Honor has managed to climb the ranks and share her story with anyone willing to listen. Although she doesn't make it a habit to talk about her past, it's one of the things that has made her into the breakout model today. So, whether she is gracing the cover of magazines, websites, writing honest and brutal reviews and blogs, or causing a ruckus on social media, she's been able to captivate her audience and help usher in a newer generation of models/bloggers/reviewers and entertain when it comes to social media.

Her name is Honor Penelope Wynter. She was born August 25th, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her middle name is her deceased mother's name, her main inspiration and motivation for modeling. "My mother was always a huge part of my life. She was, in a way, my angel. She believed in me and my brothers even before we knew what we wanted out of life." Honor's mother, Penelope, passed away when she was just 9 years old. "I won't blame losing my mother so young as to my crappy behavior at all. I 100% own up to all the shit I did in the past. If anything, her passing made me realize that I needed to do something in life, for myself. We were both obsessed with beauty and glamour, especially vintage and old hollywood. It was just much more amazing than the current styles. It was our thing, we loved watching old black and white movies and me and my dad watched the cheesy, crappy horror movies." She remembers her childhood as being a happy and exciting time. "I was a very happy and hyper child. I wanted to do everything and everything. Not much has changed now except I'm just more relaxed. I still want to do everything and anything." After the tragic death of her mother, Honor, as she puts it, completely disconnected from the world around her and tried to find her own path once again. It led her down a few dark paths but ultimately to her current successful achievement of modeling. "A lot of people like to downplay modeling because it seems so easy. It really pisses me off. If modeling were easy then everyone would be doing it if they wanted to. It's very hard to get your foot in the door, unless you know the right people and I had to make those bonds with people. They didn't come naturally. Everything I have ever done, I did it on my own and I deserve it." Honor comes off as a very passionate person when talking about the things and people she loves. One of those people happens to be her current fiance, Kai Rollins.

UserPostedImageUserPostedImage

The pair made for quite the unorthodox couple, where their relationship started off in a very controversial way. "It's nothing new or unheard of. Our relationship started when we were with other people. It sucks but it happens. I fell in love with Kai while I was in love with someone else and he did the same. It was complicated but we dealt with it. I'm always a person who loves to enjoy life and not worry about little things. All that matters is we love each other and we're happy right now." While the pair may have had a rough start, it seems as if things are easy-sailing now. "I think we're just two people that have so much in common and understand each other. Not a lot of people understand our humor, our sarcasm, our way of living, but we understand each other. It makes things very fun and unpredictable" she says. Another thing about Kai she loves is "his ability to not give a fuck about hate. A lot of people say they don't care, myself included, but he truly does not. It's admirable, to be honest." But don't ever think the young model gets bothered by the hate she sometimes receives online. "A lot of people don't like me, sucks for them because I'm amazing. I do read a lot of the things people say and think of me. I don't think much of it because these are some of the same people who never have the balls to meet me and say these things. Most of them actually steer pretty clear of me, but also a lot of these people don't matter to me. For example, if my good friend Billy [Khan] were to say something truly hurtful to me, it would fuck me up pretty bad but only because I actually give a damn about him and his opinion."

One of the traits that sets her apart aside from her honesty is her look. When Honor first came into the scene, she was influenced by the Scene style, you know the kind, teenagers with colorful hair, piercings, loved crappy music? (See BrokenCyde) But as she got older, her style changed to a more modern and slightly gothic one. "Well, I love dark colors, hence why I dyed my hair jet black. I guess I was just trying to be a model back then but now it's more about being who I am. My style is different from a lot of people. I love chic yet boho style. I switch it up a lot." Honor has also never hid from the fact that she got plastic surgery when she was younger. "Yeah, so what?" She shrugs. "Nothing is wrong with getting work done as long as I like it. I got my lips done, I thought they were too thin and ugly. I love the fuller look they give off now. I also got my nose done because I thought it wasn't right. Aside from those two operations, I haven't had any work done and I don't plan on getting any more. I think I look great now" but she knows there are some who like to criticize her. "I can't tell you how many times people say I look like a blowfish or something repetitive like that. Like I said, I feel great about my look and I don't regret it at all. I'm all for plastic surgery if it makes you feel good."

As Honor continues to sit in front of me, she crosses her leg and places her hands on her lap. She doesn't look impatient at all but she definitely looks like a woman on the go. "I've been less busy in the past few months because of wedding planning and with chemotherapy. The latter wipes me out most of the time." She clears her throat. Honor was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer mid 2015 and while she doesn't talk about it often, she's willing to share her story with us. "It was one of the only times I was truly afraid and fearful of my future. I was like anyone else, hearing the word cancer just freaked me out. The first person I told was Kai and we kept it a secret for a while before I let my family and fans know. I just didn't want it to be a big commotion, you know? Nobody wants to be known as 'The girl who has cancer' I honestly worked hard to be known for being a bitch and other things." She laughs, showing her humor in the terrible situation. "So I got the surgery and all that, basically I won't be able to carry a baby, I don't have menstruation cycles anymore, it's pretty much been taken away from me. I have chemotherapy about 3 times a week and the other 4 days I'm trying not to keel over from being so tired. I did lose some of my hair which is why it's shorter now but I just get extensions and call it a day. It wasn't that bad, the pain was the hard part but I feel good now." Showing her strength once again, Honor is able to dust off the tears and pain, and prevail with her life. "It's one of those things that is just another roadblock in my life. I don't let it control me, I try to do my everyday things and live my life. I'm not going to stop my career and doing what I love because of cancer."

One of the many plans Honor has in store for us for the new year is becoming involved in a television deal. "Oh, I love talk shows. I've always wanted to have one. I had planned to have one on E! but after talking about it, we decided that it would be best to go another route. I'll still be on television but it won't be my show, which I'm fine with. I still have plans to have a podcast in the near future. I really want to do something with fashion and music. I want it to be completely different than the shows you hear so I'm working on that." Honor gives a very confident grin as she begins to talk about her future. "I've worked with Riot! In The Boulevard on one of their songs and it managed to do well. I'd love to work more in music. I'm shit at singing but then again, who really isn't these days? I've also been honored to start my own mini modeling agency. It's nothing huge but it's just a kickstart for models out there. A lot of them want to be at huge agencies or whatever but it's tough to even get a nod your way. My agency is a little easier to get into and cheaper. I already have a few girls signed, some you may or may not know. There's Tatiana, she's been on your television screens practically all of the start of 2015 and some of 2014, there's Nina Merjos, she is Izzy's younger sister and aspiring model, there's another girl named Madison King and Cali Monaco, so I already have quite a few girls signed. They'll be everywhere soon enough. Like I said, modeling is my life and I love it. I also know it can be insanely hard to get into so I'd like to help somehow." When I asked what the name of her modeling agency was she replied with a huge white grin, "Wynter Models Management, or Wynter Models for short."

While Honor seems to have things mapped our for now, she knows things may not always go according to plan. "I'm one of the most prepared for nothing person you'll ever meet. I hate planning but I also hate being unorganized. I honestly just want my agency to take off the most, that's all. Even if my show is a disaster and nobody listens, the agency is the most important thing." Now taking a sip of bottled water, Honor clears her throat once more. "But I don't worry about it, whatever happens, happens. I'll be happy I tried." When she thinks of herself, she thinks that she's, "Inspirational, strong, confident, a bitch....just to name a few adjectives." She chuckles before taking another sip of her water. I ask her about one of her biggest rivals in the industry, Queen Alexis, and Honor couldn't hold back her smile. "I think you're the first person to ask me about her....I just don't even have the words. She's hated me since I became noticed. I think I bother her. She's always taking shots at me and I do the same but quite honestly, we're two different people. She's still trying to live onto the past and her 'glory days' I guess you could say. She's nothing to me and she has nothing on me.

Quite frankly, she's like the biggest social media star there is, you know? I've never seen a critic completely review on Twitter, it screams unprofessional to me. Maybe she should get her show started again so she can afford a proper website, I don't know."
I ask her about the influx of new bloggers and reviewers coming in. "Literally everyone and their mom is a blogger now. I haven't written many blogs because of my illness but some of these people have written, what, one or two blogs? Suddenly they are a star now? Okay. I've actually been working for years and years. I had to actually get out there and do things but everyone wants to be instantly famous these days. I guess I should have just put out a sex tape and let it do the work for me." She laughs again, rolling her eyes. "I actually applaud people who are often called 'irrelevant' yet they are getting these deals, these jobs, and networking with big names. To me, that's what people misunderstand about me. I network. I have connections. I know people and how I got to know them is by working my ass off and doing all these shoots and interviews, I started at the lowest of the low. I remember when models and bloggers actually had portfolios and examples of their work. There's a reason why companies ask me to review things, there is a reason. There's a reason why magazines want me on covers, right Elle? I just went on a rant, what even was the question?" We share a laugh between the two of us as she begins to move on. Clearly, Honor isn't shy about her accomplishments.

"I've come a long way. I mean I'm on the cover of Elle for god's sake." But she doesn't think she's reached her peak yet. "I think I still have some ways to go but I'm glad to help newcomers. Yes, I'm a bitch, but I'm a great friend to those who are good to me. I never forget things." As far as wedding plans go, Honor says everything is figured out. "We already have a date, location, outfits are being tailored, bridesmaids and groomsmen are picked out, it's been pretty easy. We're definitely getting married in the Spring and we found this beautiful church in Greece that is Gothic inspired. It will be big yet intimate. We don't even have that many family and friends, to be brutally honest."

Cara: Honor you are such a beautiful soul. I've always admired you, mostly for your attitude but also your drive! Although we're not that far apart in age, you were an inspiration to me when I was taking my first steps into the "entertainment business". Again your drive and attitude is something I looked at and it helped me during those first few months when people were saying, I can't do this or I can't do that, or I'm just an A+R girl and all that bullsh*t. It seems like you suffered the same sort of negativity, labelled as just a model and all that at the beginning but you've basically shown them all the middle finger and look at you now!
So yeah, I feel like these young musicians, models or actress or whatever, they should all read this and look at how you've done things and take inspiration from that. Creativity, uniqueness, drive and attitude is what they need to make it, and you've proven that. Basically you're a motherf*cking boss and I thank you!

OOC: Really great job, however long it took for you to post it! :)

OOC: Hello hello, so I'm planning on trying to make Honor be more active (well as much I will be anyway) but if you have anything you would like her to review or etc, feel free to pm me. Friendly reminder ALL reviews and whatnot are in character so never take anything personal. It's based off of Honor's taste and preferences, not my own.

Reviews can be for:

Music (Singles/Albums/Music Videos, Performacnes, etc)
Television (Episodes/Series/Award Shows, etc)
Fashion
Merchandise/Cosmetics (Now introducing you can "send" Honor products that she will write a little review on, similar to what you might see on youtube)

And whatever else you can think of and would like Honor to review or write her thoughts on, PMs are OPEN.

I will also try to do a little throwback review where I randomly review an throwback album, single, or music video just for fun (and if I can find the time so I won't guarantee this to be a weekly thing)

They will be first come first served so I will try to go in the order that I receive them :)

Also please ignore the main page, I'm trying to re do it so it will look better in the future, dang photobucket Glare

Honor's Blog
Song Streaming: Joshua Grimmie - SURPRISE!

UserPostedImage

HEY ALL YOU COOL CATS AND KITTENS, I'M BACK.

This will be a super short blog but I wanted to give you guys some announcements. Now, no you're not re reading an old blog but some of the things I said before are pretty much going to be in here for today. I had a lot of plans a few years ago but my health and covid decided to double-team and ruin things. Originally I had my podcast planned to start years ago but after doing some more fine tuning, I am pushing it back to debut by the end of the year. It could be next month or the month after. Hell, there's only 2 months left in the year so it will definitely be 1 of the 2, but at any rate it will be here. My podcast will for the most part be me and an artist or artists talking and conversing about whatever we decide to converse about! There won't be any fan questions or any scripts actually. I want my podcast to be that one place where you can say whatever is on your mind. We have enough scripted reality shows and tv hosts that we don't need another. So I'm excited for that and will be announcing guests soon. EVERYONE is welcome, as long as you can keep up with me in conversation. I look forward to seeing some of you squirm :)

Next order of business, my perfume will be coming out by January of 2021.

Third order of business, October 31st, I am having my annual Halloween party (masks and hand sanitizer and lots of soap will be available). Let's face it, everyone was itching to get out of the house for the FCAs and I know we are due for another crazy industry party and I want to help. So dust off those costumes and join me for a night of fun!

OOC: Honor's podcast will start in a month or two so feel free to PM to sign your guests up. I want to try something different so this won't be the Q&A type, I want it to be feel like an actual conversation, similar to actual podcasts where it just sounds like 2 or more people talking without a strict structure or script, so it will require a lot of work if you do sign up so please be mindful of that :) But if you think you can handle it, you can sign up any artist or character you would like! Will also be first come first served.
